Babywearing on the beach

I met up with Rochelle last weekend for a babywearing photoshoot she arranged through a fundraiser for Babywearing International of Hampton Roads (check us out!) for some pics of this pregnant mama wearing her little one. We shot at East Beach, one of my favorite locations, and everything was perfect, including the light. Overcast skies at the beach might not be the best for vacationers but they are a photographer's dream.

We even got a family shot in! Most people tend to go nautical with their clothes for beach shots, in navy and reds, but I love how Rochelle and her husband wore tones of seaglass and coral. It keeps things fresh but still beachy.

We even got dad in on the babywearing action! Yay for babywearing caregivers of all kinds.
