A dragon birthday

Have you seen How to Train Your Dragon? Confession: I haven't. But it didn't keep me from enjoying Ezekiel's 7th birthday last weekend, with a How to Train Your Dragon theme. Zeke's mom asked me to take pics of his big day and I immediately said yes because the theme sounded so intriguing but also because: CAKE.

Almost as much fun as capturing the fun of the party itself was capturing all of the little details Zeke's mom had put into everything. From the maps that she drew herself to the dragon wings she made for each child! to the Viking ship, the toss-the-sheep game, the fiery cupcakes, and maps she drew herself. With all that work to do it was nice to help her not have to worry about taking pics of everything but just relax and enjoy her hard work with her sweet Z.
